About Kjell
I started playing guitar at the age of fourteen, at sixteen I started performing on stages in mainland Europe. My main focus was acoustic guitar and I learnt various finger-picking techniques, mainly by playing folk songs. After a few years I began focussing on playing bass guitar and ukulele and I played in several bands when I moved to London. At the moment my focus lies on playing a combination of styles and I switch from playing guitar to bass guitar but my passion is the acoustic guitar.I began teaching in 2015. I do not have a cookie-cutter approach to teaching music: everyone is different and will develop at their own pace and style.
When I don’t teach or play guitar I write and illustrate children’s books.
